Szeged Welcomes Professor Mira T. Sundara Rajan

The Institute of Comparative Law and Legal Theory is proud to host Professor Mira T. Sundara Rajan on October 24-25 in Szeged.

Prof. Sundara Rajan is a globally known scholar of intellectual property law. Her main focus is on copyright law, especially the moral rights regimes. Following several years of negotiations, we proudly host Prof. Sundara Rajan in our Institute. We intend to offer various programs, among which two public events deserve special attention here. On October 24, we organize a book review event dedicated to a volume, titled Intellectual Property in Central and Eastern Europe, edited by Prof. Sundara Rajan. The volume hosted more than 20 papers from various great scholars and practitioners from all around the globe. These authors wrote on Central and Eastern intellectual property law issues. From the many authors, besides Prof. Sundara Rajan and the organizer of the series of events, Péter Mezei, we are delighted to host Lois Fishman, Esq. from Los Angeles, and Dr. Gábor Faludi, Associate Professor of the Scientific University of Eötvös Lóránd (ELTE). The second public event will be a lecture on the international moral rights system, delivered by Prof. Sundara Rajan. Both events are free to attend, but requires electronic registration.

We are looking forward these events, and we will of course publish a summary of the events on this blog.
