Mark Hyland’s intellectual property lectures in Szeged
We have hosted another great IP scholar, Mark Hyland, in Szeged during September 11-13.
Mark Hyland, the Lecturer in Law of Bangor University’s Law School has presented an eight hours long series of lectures on intellectual property law matters on September 11-13, 2018. Upon the invitation of Dr. habil. Péter Mezei, the founder of the InfoCopy Student Research Group, Professor Hyland lectured Hungarian undergraduates, Chinese students of the GATEWAY program and international Erasmus students, as well as Hungarian and international postgraduate students. He has introduced his research outcomes related to the intellectual property law/competition law interface, website blocking and the new Trade Secret Directive of the European Union. His visit also allowed for Professor Hyland and Associate Professor Mezei to discuss the future steps of their collaboration in research, education and PhD studies. As a part of that Associate Professor Mezei is going to visit the city of Bangor in Wales during February 2019.
