Pedig nagyon hasznos lett volna… Mindenesetre mellékelem a tájékoztató szöveget, amiből kiderül, hogy holnap 9-11 között, magyar idő szerint 15-17 óra között webcasting keretében legalább a nyitó szekciót követni lehet élőben. Remélhetőleg a technika is engedi majd.

„This Thursday and Friday, PIJIP is hosting a meeting bringing together over 80 academics and advocates from 5 continents to deliberate over public interest concerns with the controversial intellectual property treaty being negotiated in secret later this month.

The meeting will be taking place 10 days before the launch of the next round of secret negotiations on the Anticounterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA) in Lucerne, Switzerland. The treaty proposes to extend far beyond true counterfeiting concerns to create new global minimum standards for controversial subjects like liability of internet intermediaries, damages actions for unknowing copyright infringement, seizure of transshipped generic drugs that violate patents only in the transit country (the so-called „dutch seizure” problem) and other controversial
intellectual property policies.

There will be a public webcast of the opening session of this meeting, from 9-11am tomorrow, Thursday June 17.
